W-L’s Largest and Smallest Classes

Through the 90-plus years since W-L’s first graduating class (1926), the size of the graduating class has varied greatly, from a single person (1926) to over 900 (1955). Generational load has had much to do with it, but has also been influenced by the economic conditions (the Depression), conflict (World War II), and the addition of Wakefield and Yorktown High Schools to the Arlington County school system.

Statistics are based on the Alumni Database, and are certainly subject to change as we perfect our information on our alumni.
